Our Commitment

DayZ Afterlight is operated in full alignment with Bohemia Interactive’s DayZ Server Monetization Policy, and what we offer has been reviewed and approved by Bohemia Interactive. Our core promise is to preserve a fair, authentic survival experience for every player.

We will never sell gameplay advantages. Everything we offer is cosmetic or convenience only.

What We Provide

Priority Queue Access

Community supporters can join the server faster when it reaches capacity, for a fixed period. This is a convenience feature only and has zero impact on gameplay balance.

Cosmetic Customisation

Purely visual options such as a custom clan tag colour, a custom territory flag and custom armbands. They change how something looks and nothing else. A VIP bundle combines these cosmetics with a period of queue priority.

Donations

Voluntary contributions towards running costs, with nothing given in return.

What none of this includes:

  • No weapons, gear, supplies or any item that affects survival
  • No spawn or loot advantages
  • No exclusive zones or protected areas
  • No gameplay changes or boosted progression
  • No unfair advantage of any kind

Cosmetic items are visual only. They carry no stats, offer no protection and cannot be traded for anything that does.

Bohemia Interactive Guidelines

We follow Bohemia Interactive's official monetization guidelines, which only permit cosmetic or queue-priority benefits that do not influence survival mechanics or player competition.

Our current offering has been submitted to Bohemia Interactive and approved. If we ever add something new, it goes through the same review first.

Why We Monetize

Running a DayZ server involves ongoing costs including:

  • Dedicated server hosting
  • Game server licenses
  • Website and Discord bot hosting
  • Community tools and plugins
  • Development and maintenance time

Priority queue purchases help cover these costs and keep the server running smoothly for everyone.
All revenue goes directly to server operations and improvements.
